what happens when the money stops??

i have a new expression, "beetle back crush".  beetle back crush is when the boss you have worked so royally for, for so long, and with so much integrity and devotion, walks up to you and says, "no more work, need to let you go".

its a bit like a big, enormous prada shoe coming down on you and squashing to the ground.

what needs containing in these moments is the desire to scream, the desire to rant and rave and tell it how it is.  particularly if the boss you have worked for has so obviously been on the wrong track - and you know it.  more to the point, you can see it, because you have insight.

contain yourself, you must if you are to move swiftly forward.
