funny stuff and the love of all things beautiful

Have you stopped and had a look at not only yourself, but where you are heading in life?
I need to do this regularly, and assess my values, goals, ideals, and wants for the future.

At the stage of life i am at now, (and i am only half way there) i no longer will accept alot of the
bad treatment i used to, when younger.

Today i stand tall and clear, and own my life.  I am gentle and honest and believe in the good of people and the world, although this has lead to dreadful situations where i have been abused, cheated and mislead.   It has not tainted me.

I stand for things of beauty and things of truth.  Lightening up is something that has taken me along time to get too.  Have a look at my funny video below:

love and other nuisances is all about the difficulties we face in becoming real and honest with ourselves, and of connecting in a felt sense to the world around us.

for me pain and torment had me hide inside a shield of defense that wrapped up my pain and protected me (of so i thought) from more coming in.  of course it is an ego based defense and does not in reality work.   it was and is self defeating, and blocks me from true movement forward into the world of my dreams and goals becoming reality.

today i want to talk about what is old being new again.  old being in this post an old way of being.

i do.  i have had enough of the ego ways of the world.  enough of the intolerable prejudice and ego based patronized ways, that are used every day, in so many ways to keep us suppressed and controlled beyond levels that are tolerable to me, and many like me.

i value beauty and honesty.  i value integrity and truth.  i value things and ways of living that add to our souls.  that give back, and enhance.  what about you?

getting real and honest with myself is hard at times, other times life forces it upon me.  at present the later is so.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder and beautiful things in my life mean so much to me.  hardly do i think i am jaded, but there have been times in my life when that the beauty of 'things' of old and yesterday are the only things next to nature that have had smile impact for me. many times humans have let me down so so badly.

 i have learnt truth with myself, and my attitudes is the only thing that will move me forward into new space, like a virgin - free from the chains of the past, no resentment, or even carrying of pain.  good things and more, staking up make a beautiful life, and something of beauty in and of itself.

when you think of money, what beliefs come straight to mind? when you see something of beauty, how do you react? do things of beauty, or works of timeless essence and spoken meaning touch your heart and ring into your soul?

works of art can inspire, what else inspires you.  for me i know that things of beauty are my "thing."
i am not bitter or angry, but people over the course of my life have not mostly, inspired me. in fact often
i end up the but of someone else's jealousy or inability to take the truth.  hurt follows, disappointment and depression used to creep in, until i realised that i am master of my own world, and hey, guess what, at the end of the day that is not at all about me at all.

other's projection.  hey it is life.  but art and things of beauty will never let me down, they inspire and continue to remind me that beauty, love and truth live in this world.  that masters paint, craftsman have created and things of wonder inspire me endlessly.

beauty speaks to the soul. soul connection.  what matters to you in life?  there is a lot of life, but stop and think in the last week, what do you remember? what inspired you?

creativity, cancer and growth

vintage rave is touching on another sources of creativity today, it is the creativity of our thoughts and our attitudes that i shall blog on today.  what is in mind today is the toxic and entropic path that our thoughts can take if we are not fully awake to ourselves.  who wants a life of pain and sickness? i life of  constant hurt and emotional pain?

somewhere along the way it we want what we believe to be the best for us, we do need to make a decision to change, grow, to stop allowing the toxic influences, to say no!! to bad choices and that includes bad enviroments that do not nuture who we are, as whole and unique individuals.

if old is new again, we can take from the past much.  not only was there much beauty, skill and appreciation in what was made in days of old, from delightfuly cut frocks, to solid pieces of hard wood furniture, there lies a beauty and a simplicity in the giving from heart and soul, for its own sake.

there is alot in that, and we need a brave and strong decision to change our selves, to become strong and well and healthy and change ourselves and our worlds, to a world fit for well people who have capacity to give, to live and nuture, not only ourselves, but those around us and our enviroment.

i believe that cancer is a symptom for a far deeper reacher sickness than most want to think about. how much toxic influence will i allow for myself today??  share this blog post and comment to me please, i am going to continue tomorrow, and for today i wish you blessings and light, creativity and love......dont let the big, bad wolf stalk you today!!!!!!!!!!!

what happens when the money stops??

i have a new expression, "beetle back crush".  beetle back crush is when the boss you have worked so royally for, for so long, and with so much integrity and devotion, walks up to you and says, "no more work, need to let you go".

its a bit like a big, enormous prada shoe coming down on you and squashing to the ground.

what needs containing in these moments is the desire to scream, the desire to rant and rave and tell it how it is.  particularly if the boss you have worked for has so obviously been on the wrong track - and you know it.  more to the point, you can see it, because you have insight.

contain yourself, you must if you are to move swiftly forward.

what do you do when the money stops??

what happens when you get beetle crush back?  that is the term i use to describe what happens when the boss you have absolutely given so much to, uses a gigantic prada shoe to stomp on your back and let you know there is no more work.

the writing has been on the wall for awhile, and you have seen this coming as your keen insight allows this, and despite your trying to draw attention to bad business practise, the only result that comes is expense cutting - ie you!!!   and of course, a whipping for daring to speak up.

it is tough, and when you know that the business could be thriving.  when there is a mad man at the helm the real question is............what am i doing here anyway??

take it that beetle crush back was a blessing.  do not get angry and vent. bless the poor fool with little insight and move forward gracefully.

money money money, it can be funny - not when it is not forth coming though.  when your values are comprised and you are out on the street, take the time to check out new options that you perhaps would not have considered before beetle crush back.

recently the above happened to me and i have taken the leap forward to a new and softer way.  i will not be dictated to again, or be made victim to, another persons lack of integrity, and decency, by a fool beating his own drum, who acts with no regard to another.  i will stand tall and live by my truth and will share with you a wonderful opportunity to run your own show, make corporate money in part time hours, not be stressed and belittled and to actually reclaim your life.
